Saludos,

a) Escribirlos y pronunciarlos correctamente.

NOTAS:

Incluye el verbo "tener": have - had - had

La palabra forbade puede ser pasado simple de forbid. Se aceptan las dos respuestas.

Verbos irregulares: Repasamos.

David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World
(4 min 35 sec)

  • Some of the lyrics are based on a poem by Hugh Mearns called The Psychoed:

As I was going up the stair
I met a man who was not there
    He wasn't there again today
I wish that man would go away

We passed upon the stair
We spoke of was and when
Although I wasn't there
He said I was his friend
Which came as some surprise
spoke into his eyes
"I thought you died alone
A long long time ago."

"Oh no, not me
I never lost control
You're face to face
With the man who sold the world."

laughed and shook his hand
And made my way back home
searched for form and land
For years and years I roamed
gazed a gazely stare
At all the millions here
We must have died alone
A long long time ago

Who knows? Not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With the man who sold the world (x2)

Last Saturday I went to "Cuánto Talento" and I met Rey Enigma. He is a famous chess youtuber. He wore his signature costume and kept his voice in-character. He was very nice!

told him about our "Taller de Ajedrez". He thought it was great! I didn't play with him. I would have lost

Sabrina Vega was also there. She talked to Rey Enigma about chess in IES Lomo de la Herradura. I felt really proud!

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69

got my first real six-string (=guitar)
(I) Bought it at the five and dime
(I) Played it 'til my fingers bled
(It) Was the summer of '69

Me and some guys from school
Had a band and we tried real hard
Jimmy quit and Jody got married
I should've known we'd never get far

Oh, when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Yeah, I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life

Ain't no use in complainin'
When you got a job to do
spent my evenings down at the drive-in (cinema)
And that's when I met you, yeah

Standin' on your mama's porch
You told me that you'd wait forever
Oh, and when you held my hand
knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life
Oh, yeah
Back in the summer of '69, oh

Man, we were killin' time
We were young and restless
We needed to unwind
I guess nothing can last forever
Forever, no
Yeah

And now the times are changin'
Look at everything that's come and gone
Sometimes when I play that old six-string
I think about you, wonder what went wrong

Standin' on your mama's porch
You told me that it'd last forever
Oh, and when you held my hand
knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life
Oh, yeah
Back in the summer of '69, uh-huh
It was the summer of '69, oh, yeah

Me and my baby in '69, oh, oh
It was the summer, summer, summer of '69
(Yeah)
